Job Summary:
First State Auto Group is seeking a dynamic and motivated Automotive Sales Associate to join our team in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the fast-paced and exciting auto industry. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients. Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary, with a potential compensation of $60,000 to $150,000 per year based on experience and performance. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Educate customers on vehicles and their features, as well as available financing and warranty options
- Work with customers to understand their needs and budget, and recommend appropriate vehicles to meet their requirements
- Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle features to potential buyers
- Negotiate and close sales, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new vehicle models, and competitive offerings
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and goals
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of vehicles and their features
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
